1982
Establishment of Kouros – I. Tseperkas & Co. Production takes place in a leased space on 58 Kavalas Avenue. The company manufactured mainly custom advertising signs, store signs and outdoor neon signs. 
Within a decade, Kouros becomes among the leading signage makers in Greece.

1991
To satisfy excess demand, construction of a 5000 sq. m. plant commences in Metamorfossi, Athens.

1992
Kouros Bulgaria, a subsidiary company, is established in Sofia. A 1000 sq. m. production plant serves the Greek and local market.

1995
The company relocates its production in a 4500 sq. m. plant in Avlonas, Attica.

1997
The company’s name changes to Kouros SA - Advertising Constructions.

1999
Kouros obtains the ISO 9001:2000 QMS certificate.

2003
Following an international bidding process, Kouros is chosen to be the primary supplier for the re-imaging project of Citibank’s retail network in Europe.

2005
Establishment of subsidiaries in Romania (Sign Media) and Bulgaria (Sign Max) in order to serve Greek firms that are expanding into SE Europe. The company’s exporting activity is expanded to Austria and Poland. Meanwhile, signage is produced and installed in Cyprus, Albania, FYROM, Egypt and Sudan. The production plant in Avlonas is purchased together with an adjascent property, increasing the total property surface to 15000 sq. m.

2006
Sign Media DOO, a subsidiary in Serbia is established.

2007
The planning and design for the expansion and refurbishment of the production facilities in Greece commence. In Bulgaria, a 2000 sq. m. production plant is leased. In Romania, Sign Media develops an assembly line and purchases a 12500 sq. m. property in Bucharest.

2008
In Romania, a 10000 sq. m. property is purchased in the district of Zilawa for future development. The design and planning of a production plant in Bucharest commence. To serve Greek clients, signage is produced for their Ukranian subsidiaries and installed in Kiev and Southern Ukraine. Kouros SA is rebranded to Kouros – Integrated Sign Systems and the European subsidiaries to Artius – Integrated Sign Systems emphasizing the complete signage solutions offered to our clients.
