Since 1902, when Mr. Willis Haviland Carrier invented the basics of air-conditioning, Carrier S.A. has been the world leader in the designing, manufacturing and sale of heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigerating systems and products.
Today, Carrier belongs to the UTC (United Technologies Corporation) group of companies with headquarters in Farmington, Connecticut USA and over 39.000 employees. With a strong presence in more than 179 countries Carrier aims at a continuous development of its 100-year expertise in responding to the needs of every local market.
Since the first day of its establishment Carrier has maintained its leading position in the global market manufacturing the widest range of advanced technology heating, air-conditioning, refrigerating systems which respect the environment and are distinguished by their high quality.
In 31 August 1998, Carrier and Toshiba announced the development of a trade cooperation in the field of air-conditioning expanding the range of products and increasing the potential for new applications in technology and the quality of production.
Toshiba air-conditioning section manufactures domestic and commercial air-conditioning systems.
Carrier has been present in the Greek market since 1952. Carrier Hellas Air-conditioning S.A. was founded in 1996 as a branch of the multinational company in Greece and is responsible for the Balkans and Cyprus.
All of its products are licensed by CE European trade regulations and recognized by Eurovent Quality Assurance Certification. Moreover, all of its manufacturing installations have ISO 9001.
