Since 1953, when first established, LAVDAS Co. provides little mouthwatering pleasures for the whole family through its tasty products.

Since that time, when candy production in Greece was still at a primary stage and products were offered in very limited variety of types and flavors, sold in traditional glass jars, major developments have been achieved in terms of production & distribution.

LAVDAS Company, pioneer in production automation, has been the leader in Greece by continuously modernizing its equipment in order to meet its target for high quality standards and product proliferation.

In 1996 the company completed its new factory of 10.000m2, one of the most modern plants in Europe with fully automated machinery, introducing to the Greek market a great variety of new products and packing.

Keeping up with the developments and the alterations in nutrition habits of the consumers, LAVDAS Co. made a new investment, in 2004, with the purchase and installation of a new production line of deposited candies, producing SUGAR FREE candies as well.

Its extensive sales network, with individual branch office in North Greece (Thessaloniki), guarantees a high level of customer service and a strong position of Lavdas products at the top of the market.

Today, its product mix consists of a complete range of filled and hard candies, toffees, jellies, lollipops and sugar-free candies in attractive packaging and tasteful flavors as much in traditional as in new and improved tastes. Moreover, it has developed a full range of chocolate products under the brand name “GENEVA”, which are sold in bulk and packaged as well.

The principal strategy of the company is to continue taking advantage of the new technology and to closely follow market trends so as to keep presenting new products that satisfy even the most demanding consumer!
