The Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Zakynthos was established in 1920. Its members are 52 primary cooperatives, representing 5,800 farmers. Since its establishment, the Union has been active in various sectors but mainly in the marketing of agricultural products produced on the island.

 Today, it mainly operates in the collection, preparation, and marketing of the main farming products of the island, such as olive oil. For this purpose, it has an olive oil bottling facility, where much of the oil production of the land is collected and standardized.
 
The aim of UAC Zakynthos is to support local farmers, promote local products, preserve the local tradition and culture and promote the island.
